  18. <p>     For an anchorman, DAN RATHER has always seemed somewhat tightly
  19. wound, emotional and even occasionally incoherent. Last week
  20. he delivered an impassioned speech to the Radio and Television
  21. News Directors Association in which he blasted his profession
  22. for encouraging the "Hollywoodization of news." "They've got
  23. us putting more and more fuzz and wuzz on the air," declared
  24. Connie Chung's sidekick. "Cop-shop stuff."
